How I got another business 20 customers in 14 days

Back in June 2023, I walked into a gym and took over their sales for 14 days.
At the time, the gym had around 50 customers.
They had built that customer base over the previous two or three years.
Then, in 14 days...
we added 20 more.
Almost half their existing customer base.
In two weeks.
And looking back, I don't think there was some magical sales trick behind it.
There were three things that made the difference.
1. We had an attractive offer.
This sounds ridiculously obvious.
But selling gets a LOT easier when people actually want what you're selling.
A better sales script can't fix an offer nobody cares about.
Before obsessing over closing techniques, I'd always look at the offer first.
2. We ran Meta ads.
Once the offer was right, we needed people to see it.
That's where the ads came in.
Instead of sitting around hoping someone would randomly discover the gym...
we actively generated opportunities.
Offer + attention.
But there was one more thing.
And I think this one gets underestimated.
3. I was focused on ONE thing: selling.
For those 14 days, my job was simple.
Generate leads.
Talk to them.
Follow up.
Book appointments.
Close.
Repeat.
I wasn't coaching the new customers.
I wasn't cleaning the gym.
I wasn't doing admin.
I wasn't trying to solve 17 other problems at the same time.
I didn't even have to fulfill what I was selling.
I could focus almost entirely on getting people through the door and turning them into customers.
And surprise, surprise...
sales went up.
That's something I think about quite a lot today.
Sometimes your business doesn't need another complicated strategy.
You might simply need:
A better offer.
A predictable way to generate leads.
And enough focused attention on actually selling it.
The problem is that when you're running a business yourself, it's incredibly easy to lose that focus.
Marketing.
Customers.
Employees.
Admin.
Operations.
WhatsApp.
Email.
And suddenly "selling" is something you do whenever you find some time.
That's dangerous.
Because without sales, eventually there isn't much else left to manage.
So if you're currently trying to grow your business and you're not sure whether the problem is your offer, your marketing, your sales process...
or something completely different...
that's exactly the kind of thing we can work through together.

P.S. Sometimes the fastest way to grow isn't doing more.
It's finally having enough time to focus on the one thing that actually moves the number.
